Brass precision balance housed in a warm-finished wooden case with glazed front and side panels. The exposed mechanism features a tall central column, pierced balance beam, suspended silver-tone weighing pans, and graduated adjustment components. The cabinet incorporates a framed front access panel with paired metal lifts, a dark platform beneath the weighing chamber, and two lower storage drawers with curved metal pulls flanking a central round control knob. A mounted maker’s plaque reads “Precision Balances & Weights.”

Accompanying accessories include graduated brass weights in a fitted wooden holder, three square wooden blocks with circular brass fittings, a separate threaded brass foot, and a small brass bracket.
