A refined example of Danish modernist lighting, this Mandarin pendant lamp was designed by Michael Bang in 1983 and produced in Denmark by Holmegaard, in association with Royal Copenhagen.
The lamp features an elegant, sculptural silhouette in beautifully luminous white opaline glass. Its softly rounded form and restrained aesthetic are characteristic of the understated sophistication of Scandinavian design, while the opaline glass creates a warm, diffused glow when illuminated.
The piece remains in original vintage condition, with the glass exceptionally well preserved and free from chips or cracks. It retains its original Royal Copenhagen label, an important detail that enhances both its authenticity and collectability.
