The Cassina Maralunga 2-seater sofa , designed by Vico Magistretti and introduced in 1973, is an iconic design piece known for its characteristic shape, comfort, and adjustable backrests.
This version was reupholstered by the previous owner in the past . The current upholstery is therefore not the original Cassina fabric . The sofa is upholstered in an off-white fabric with a subtle black polka dot pattern .
This Maralunga features two elongated back cushions that complement the design beautifully and offer extra comfort. The distinctive adjustable backrests allow you to adjust the seating position as desired.
The upholstery is in good condition , with some visible signs of wear consistent with the age and use of the sofa. Please see the photos for details. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
