An elegant and spectacular 19th-century carved wooden painter's easel, richly decorated with plant motifs, scrolls, and foliage.
The upper section is surmounted by a remarkable, finely carved openwork pediment. The particularly elegant structure rests on a gracefully curved base with cabriole legs and scrolls, and a central stretcher.
