Superb Japanese tansu-style cabinet in wood with a beautiful patina, richly adorned with decorative brass fittings.
The front is embellished with numerous finely crafted brass reinforcements and plaques, as well as side handles and a large central medallion, giving the piece a character that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
The interior reveals an ingenious layout with drawers of varying sizes, compartments, and shelves, as well as a drop-front writing surface, typical of traditional Japanese furniture.
