Original office chair from the iconic Soft Pad series, designed by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra. One of the most recognizable designs in 20th-century office furniture.
The chair is upholstered in black genuine leather and mounted on a chrome five-star base with casters. Its characteristic construction, featuring separate padded cushions, provides excellent comfort while retaining the light and elegant modernist form associated with the Eames designs.
The chair retains its original “Charles Eames – The authorized original. Vitra” label. The mechanism is marked Ring Mekanikk – Made in Norway.
Preserved in good vintage condition. The leather shows natural patina, creasing and signs of use consistent with age, as visible in the photographs. The chrome structure presents very well. Overall, the chair retains a great authentic vintage character.
