This oil on canvas work, retaining its original canvas, depicts an Impressionist landscape featuring a farmer and demonstrates fine painterly skill. It is a modestly sized piece, suitable for antique dealers and collectors; signed "Louis Ludwig" (a signature that is difficult to decipher) at the bottom left, it can be attributed to the Dutch Post-Impressionist painter Henri Louis Ludwig (1856–1925), though it lacks a certificate of authenticity.
