Vintage Italian ceramic vessel by Guido Gambone (circa 1950s). Perfect for use as an interior windowsill vase, this is a striking rectangular ceramic vessel finished in a bold, saturated orange glaze that runs down each face and pools into a mottled brown-and-oatmeal band at the base. The interior and rim carry a rich, dark iron-brown glaze, creating a strong contrast against the vivid orange exterior, a confident use of colour typical of Gambone's studio work in this period. In good overall condition. Signed "Gambone Italy" to the underside. Please enjoy the many images accompanying this listing. Upon request a video will be provided.
