1960's vintage original industrial explosion proof ceiling pendant lamps/lights with glass domes. A hugely popular lamp made from cast aluminium each with their own weathered and patinated original finish. The key feature of these lamps is their stunning original condition with original glass, they are being sold singularly. These lamps are strong visual statements perfect for a hall, contemporary kitchen or living space. The lamps were a mainstay of soviet factories, designed so that in the event of a factory explosion they would remain intact to provide emergency lighting. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern european ce standard components to bs en 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to bs en 60598. this piece is designed in the style of the selected designer and/or manufacturer,
up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
