A distinctive example of De Carli’s postwar Italian design language, the table combines an expressive walnut structure with a remarkably light and dynamic silhouette. The architectural base is centered around a circular wooden hub from which a series of elegantly curved walnut supports radiate outward. These sweeping elements rise organically to support the circular glass top, creating the characteristic spider-like form that gives the table its distinctive presence. Four slender, dramatically splayed legs extend from the central structure, further emphasizing the sense of movement and visual lightness. Particularly striking when viewed from above or below, the construction reveals an intricate radial composition in which the structural elements become an integral part of the design. The transparent circular glass top allows the sophisticated geometry and craftsmanship of the walnut base to remain fully visible.
