The … Read more This Danish teak dining table from the 1960s stands out primarily due to the beautiful construction of the tabletop. The teak veneer features a lively, warm grain and is enclosed all around by a wide rim of solid teak. The rounded corners and visible wood joints are carefully executed, giving the tabletop its characteristic Scandinavian look. We have fully renovated the teak tabletop in our workshop. The old finish has been removed, and the wood has been carefully re-treated. As a result, the natural grain of the teak is beautifully revealed again, and the tabletop is once again in very neat condition. The table was presumably fitted with a different base in the past. The current black hairpin legs complement the original tabletop well due to their simple shape. The fine black steel forms a beautiful contrast with the warm teak and keeps the table visually light. with a width of 111 cm and a depth of 90.5 cm, the table has a pleasantly compact size. There is comfortable seating for four people, while the relatively square tabletop offers sufficient space for extended dining or working. with your purchase, we include a bottle of maintenance oil and accompanying instructions so that you keep the furniture in optimal condition.
