These distinctive Italian Mid-Century chairs are characterized by their sculptural wooden frames, elegant proportions and beautifully flowing architectural lines. The curved side supports rise organically from the front legs toward the upholstered backrests, creating a refined and highly recognizable silhouette. The chairs are equally attractive when viewed from behind. Their gently curved wooden back panels emphasize the craftsmanship and sculptural character of the design, making this set particularly suitable around a freestanding dining table where the chairs can be appreciated from every angle. The dark-toned wooden frames retain an attractive warm vintage patina and are currently upholstered in a characteristic striped textile in rich shades of red, orange and brown. The chairs remain in good vintage condition, with age-related wear, patina and traces of use consistent with their age. The existing upholstery shows signs of wear. For regular daily use, we recommend having the chairs professionally reupholstered by a local upholsterer. This allows the new owner to select the fabric, color and finish according to their own interior and personal preference.
