The compact body is finished in a warm beech veneer and rests on a striking black plinth, lending the piece a calm and graphic presence.

the front is symmetrically divided into eight spacious drawers. The continuous, slightly projecting wooden handles are particularly attractive, seamlessly integrated into the design and requiring no additional metal handles. One of the two upper drawers features an original mortise lock with a round keyhole escutcheon. The drawers are solidly constructed and display classic joinery on the sides.

the combination of warm wood tones, uncluttered geometry, and a black plinth is reminiscent of high-quality swiss and central european office and workshop furniture from the 1950s.

condition: good, authentic vintage condition with signs of age and use. There are minor scratches, scuffs, and discolorations on the sides, top, and some drawer fronts. The wood surface has a beautiful, even patina. The lock is present.
