The top is laid in wide teak boards, framed by a thin border line and a thick, rounded edge. It separates at the centre to take the leaves, extending the table from a 120 cm round to a 220 cm oval.

The pedestal base divides with the top. Each half is a squared column that curves out into two splayed feet, and together they form a four-point base when the table is closed.

Closed, it seats four to six. Extended, it seats eight to ten. The sculpted base and warm teak suit Danish Modern and Mid-Century Modern interiors, with a softer, organic line at floor level. Well proportioned and practical in use. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
