Fenner” within the painted composition.
The sitter is portrayed with softly modeled features, long blonde hair arranged with a pink flower, and a delicate floral-trimmed garment. The portrait is executed with the refined shading and luminous flesh tones characteristic of high-quality late 19th century Continental porcelain painting.
Surrounding the portrait is a rich cobalt-blue border elaborately decorated in raised and tooled gilt, incorporating scrolling foliate motifs, latticework, and classical ornamental details.
