This specimen stands out for its exceptionally rich ornamentation and deep, rich colors, dominated by a dark blue-black field complemented by red, cream and blue-green accents. The central star medallion is surrounded by a dynamic plant decor with typical stylized flowers and arabesques, which are precisely developed over the entire surface of the rug. A distinctive multi-row border with floral motifs harmoniously closes the composition and underlines its balance and representative character. The rug is knotted from high-quality wool on a cotton warp with a high density of approximately 250,000 knots per square meter. This fine and strong weave is characteristic of the Bidjar region and ensures extraordinary durability, strength and longevity even with regular use. The condition of the rug is excellent, without major damage, with beautifully preserved pile and clearly legible pattern. This is a representative piece suitable for castle interiors, historical spaces, libraries, salons and quality private interiors. The rug will appeal not only with its aesthetic value, but also with its craftsmanship and prestigious Middle Eastern tradition, which the Takab Bidjar type has long represented.
