This tapestry is illustrated in the book on Flemish tapestries by Roger A. D. Hulst published by De Arcade - Brussels. The original is in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. It is a unique piece of art. A faithful copy of the original. These tapestries were known as "greens" or also "views" and were produced by only one family for the royal palaces. We can see them in old imperial inventories. The tradition of weaving by this family was from the beginning of the 15th century until its extinction at the beginning of the 17th century. This tapestry was one of the last produced by the aforementioned family. Materials: linen, wool, cotton, yarn. Date: second half of the 20th century.
Provenance: French studio - a large proportion of handwork. Condition: excellent, the back is lined. Dimensions: height: 205 cm, width: 285 cm
