This is a representative piece of furniture with a distinctive historicizing aesthetic, ideal for stylish interiors, castle spaces or collector's collections. The front of the chest of drawers is decorated with rich carving with motifs of Gothic arches and plant ornaments, reminiscent of the architecture of medieval cathedrals. The massive door wings are complemented by decorative fittings with relief patterns and a distinctive central lock. The lower part consists of three drawers with deep carvings of leaves and fruits, which give the whole piece a plastic expression. The legs of the chest of drawers are robust, solid and complemented by a profiled frame with a subtle decor. The top made of oak planks bears a natural wood grain and a beautiful patina that underlines the age and character of the furniture. The internal division of the chest of drawers offers storage space with shelves and spacious drawers, which combines decorative value with practical functionality. Thanks to its monumental dimensions (height 116 cm, width 261 cm, depth 60.5 cm), the chest of drawers becomes a dominant feature of any interior. This furniture is an example of the neo-Gothic style, which was popular in the 19th century and drew inspiration from Gothic architecture and decorative arts. See less
