Crafted of elm with traditional joinery, this antique Chinese side cabinet marries simplicity of form with a touch of traditional craftsmanship. Dated to the late 19th century, the shallow cabinet has a square corner silhouette with clean lines, hand-carved details and a lovely brass lock plate in the shape of auspicious ruyi.
The apron is carved with curving lines and etchings of graceful flower petals. Ideal today as a side table or nightstand, the lacquered cabinet is a great solution for narrow spaces, providing ample storage with two interior shelves and two small drawers.
