A matching pair of 1960s two-tier end tables by Mersman, the Celina, Ohio maker known for well-built American mid-century occasional tables. Both are stamped "Mersman 31-2" on the underside.
Sculpted, tapered legs flow into a rounded, molded apron, giving the pair a soft Danish-influenced profile. The tops are Mersman's durable walnut-grain laminate with a beveled edge, so they handle drinks, lamps, and daily use without worry. Each table has a lower walnut shelf for books or baskets.
They work equally well flanking a sofa or as roomy nightstands. Sold as a pair.
