The Lune Noire Vanity — Vesper Collection by Artera
An approximately 75-year-old vintage Gettysburg Furniture Co. vanity and mirror set, thoughtfully restored and reimagined by Artera.
Lune Noire pairs its original sculptural silhouette with a deep navy blue satin finish, restrained warm gold detailing, and brushed brass hardware. The statement mirror retains its graceful original form, with hand-applied gold accents highlighting the ornate crest and lower flourishes. Two turned front legs are balanced by the piece’s original rectangular rear supports.
The vanity offers two drawers: a smaller upper jewelry drawer and a generously sized lower drawer. Their natural wood interiors have been preserved and finished with warm ivory Art Deco-inspired patterned liners, creating a quiet contrast to the nocturnal exterior.
The original Gettysburg Furniture Co. label remains preserved on the back alongside the Artera maker’s plaque, honoring the piece’s history while documenting its new chapter.
Professionally restored vintage condition. Due to its age, subtle characteristics of its history remain and are part of the character of the piece.
