Add a vibrant touch of Chinoiserie elegance to your home decor with this striking porcelain ginger jar. This beautiful piece features a classic baluster shape topped with a matching domed lid.
The jar is adorned with a bright yellow ground, beautifully contrasted by elaborate, polychrome enamel decoration. The motif includes intricate scrolling vines, stylized lotuses, and chrysanthemums in shades of pink, green, and white. A prominent circular white medallion containing a Chinese character (often representing longevity or prosperity) sits at the center. The design is framed by a decorative band with stylized lappets near the rim and a band of upright petals around the base. This versatile vessel is perfect for displaying on a mantel, shelf, or as a centerpiece.
