There's a chic quality to vintage campaign chests and dressers that never quite goes out of style — the clean rectilinear case, the brass corner mounts standing in for hardware and armor both. This chest keeps that discipline intact: a bright blue lacquer top and case sides frame three white lacquer drawer fronts, each banded in the same blue and fitted with recessed brass campaign pulls. Brass corner brackets wrap every edge, a detail borrowed directly from military field chests built to survive the trip. It's compact enough to work as a nightstand with real storage, tucked beside a bed or used as a small dresser in a tight space.
