The classical form features the traditional mask and garland reliefs—a Bacchic face framed by swags—first introduced by potters in the Cévennes region of southern France in the early 17th century. The high fired glaze reveals subtle tonal variations and a fine crackle, emphasizing the craftsmanship and warmth of the clay beneath.

At over two feet tall, this urn commands presence indoors or out. Perfect as a sculptural garden accent, entryway statement, or paired with other Anduze pieces for a cohesive French garden tableau. See less
