It’s accented with deer and elk antlers, and uses the ends of two antlers as pegs to adjust the height of the canvas. A chain of hand-hammered and forged iron links keeps the mast from going too far back. The wood has a lot of interesting textures, from beetle trails, to burls and bark scars. There’s a nick in the antler at the top. Judging from the hardware this looks to be mid-century in age. Probably from the American West, and inspired by the works of artisans such as Thomas Molesworth. This would look right at home in a lodge, cabin, or ranch modern home.
