The metal patchwork base retains great structural integrity with signature vintage character. There are age spots visible along the seams of the brass/chrome panels; per direct correspondence with representatives of the Evans family estate, this is historical glue seepage typical of original construction from this series. This can likely be cleaned, detailed, or restored by a vintage metal specialist if desired. less
