A pair of original assemblages by the artist Robbie Namy, featuring predominantly Bakelite buttons believed to date to around the 1940s. Some buttons are Asian, including two silk-knotted buttons. Rich reds, golden yellows, black, and touches of green create two complementary compositions—one symmetrical, the other playfully arranged with geometric, floral, and fruit-shaped buttons.
Glossy red ceramic tiles border the black backgrounds, adding an unexpected architectural element to the collection of vintage buttons. White mats and black frames complete the presentation.
Each framed piece measures 11" × 14" plus frame, 15.75" x 12.75" x 1.5" Sold as a pair.
