The artist renders the female form in full, confident volumes — generous curves resolved into smooth, flowing lines. A deep brown patina across the body sets off the polished golden oar, a single bright vertical that anchors the composition and gives the piece its poise and quiet strength.

"The Rowing" is part of the limited-edition Sport series, which also includes a tennis player and a golfer — each a study of the athletic female figure. Cast in bronze using the lost-wax method and mounted on an integrated rectangular bronze base, the work is signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Made to order — a hand-cast, limited piece rather than a stock object.

This bronze sculpture was created by the artist Veaceslav Jiglitski and is signed by him. See less
