Beautiful set of seven vintage dining chairs by Old Colony Chair Co. of Rockford, Illinois: one armchair and six side chairs.
The chairs feature graceful Queen Anne–style silhouettes, tall pierced splat backs, cabriole legs, and beautifully carved ball-and-claw feet. The warm, natural wood finish has wonderful depth and highlights the grain rather than covering it with a heavy, glossy coating.
Exceptionally well-preserved vintage condition. The chairs show no apparent wear from regular use, and the frames remain remarkably clean. The high-quality woven floral upholstery is also beautifully preserved, with no visible stains, fading, or wear.
Solid, elegant American-made furniture with craftsmanship and character that are difficult to find in modern pieces.
Selling only as a complete set.
