This striking timepiece features the classic 19th-century Regency-style "Napoleon hat" tambour silhouette. The case is beautifully fashioned from premium, hand-polished mahogany accented with book-matched curl veneers. The crisp enamel-finish dial displays traditional Roman numerals, delicate period hands, and the prestigious "Comitti London" signature. A hinged, lacquered solid brass bezel handles the front door, fitted with a protective convex glass crystal.
The face features dual winding arbors built for a traditional mechanical 8-day bell strike movement, which strikes the time on the hour and passing of the half-hour. Model: C4119S

Excellent vintage cosmetic condition with a beautifully preserved wood grain and clean face. The glass is free of scratches or cracks. Please note that the winding key is not included.
