This is a finely crafted, substantial vintage wooden tray, made from rosewood (huali wood) with a rich, warm golden-brown finish.
The tray features a classic rectangular form with raised edges and is fitted with two large, intricately carved handles on the shorter ends. The exterior side panels are decorated with deep, high-relief carvings of scrolling ruyi clouds and geometric motifs, while the corners are reinforced with traditional, cloud-shaped decorative brackets.
The flat interior surface displays a beautiful, natural wood grain with a smooth, lustrous patina. The tray rests on a recessed base, giving it a slightly elevated profile. This elegant piece is perfect for serving tea, displaying a collection of small objects, or as a decorative accent on a coffee table or console.
