Vintage Turkish Hand-Knotted Wool Rug Christmas Stocking, Floral Pattern, Sage Green, Mustard and Dark Brown, 44 x 31 cm / 1.4 x 1.0 ft / 17.3 x 12.2 in, Rustic Style
Hand-altered by SFA Trading in 2026 from an original vintage Turkish rug woven circa the 1970s-1980s. A section of the rug was cut into a stocking shape, backed with fabric, and its new edges were securely hand-stitched.

ABOUT THIS RUG
This stocking is cut from a vintage Turkish rug with an earthy, softly faded palette. The cuff shows mustard yellow blossoms on a deep brown ground, edged with a row of sage green and gold rosettes. Below, a camel and cream field carries a large floral motif in sage green, mustard and dark brown, echoed again at the toe. The pile has been shaved low and has worn gently with time, giving the piece a soft, lived-in texture. The back is finished in deep plum fabric with cream stitching, and a loop at the top makes it ready to hang.
