About This Rug:
This one-of-a-kind Christmas stocking is cut from an authentic vintage Turkish rug and carries the soft, faded charm of the original weaving. A warm rose red field carries cream and gold leafy flowers with mint green centers and navy outlines, joined by a curving gold vine, small navy and amber blossoms and sage green accents. A fine navy striped border edges one side, and the rounded toe carries a cream and red patterned band. The low, hand-trimmed pile shows the hand-knotted construction and gives the piece a soft, lived-in character. Each piece is cut from a different rug, so the stocking you receive has its own character.
