Manufactured of a highly constructed central frame comprised of decorative Brass & porcelain lined main shade which surrounds the hanging light in a celestial manner while suspending a thick molded Custard glass diffuser lens below (see last pic of each individual part). These Duplexlite components are very high quality finely crafted solid Brass which has been precision machined and assembled in keeping with their exemplary level of craftsmanship. Known for being of the highest standards and quality of the era these fixtures can be found in many esteemed historical buildings, including the US White House. See less

CONDITION: This historical and impressive hanging lamp is in outstanding original condition, completely intact and fully functional. Very mild signs of age and usage wear to the slightly patine'd Brass finishes with some faint discoloration in areas of the elaborately detailed shade - all major parts made of solid Brass with a brilliant white Porcelain inner lining are intact, secure and without damage. The thick molded Custard glass diffuser with its original Brass tassel is pristine and blemish free. The original standard screw-in size bulb porcelain socket and cloth insulated wiring has been inspected & tested to be clean, safe and functional. DIMENSIONS: The lamps general shade dimensions are 12" wide X 12" high...the hanging chain & fixture combined total length is around 31" long. The fixture is complete with all original hardware ready to be hardwired to your unique installation.
