B&B Italia Mart small swivel armchair (Model MPG) in Black Thick Leather 150 with black painted cross-base. Designed by Antonio Citterio and currently in production at B&B Italia.
The Mart is a landmark of Italian industrial design, produced using B&B Italia's proprietary thermoformed leather process — a technology adapted from the footwear industry that allows thick hide leather to take complex sculptural curves. The result is a single-piece shell with the leather surface closely matching the form, lined with cold-shaped polyurethane foam over a glass fibre internal frame for structure and comfort. 360° smooth swivel.

Disclosed for full transparency: Painted base — Wear on the powder-coated legs. Certain areas touched up professionally; visible only on inspection. Leather shell — characteristic of B&B Italia's thermoformed thick hide leather, the surface shows very minor impression marks and the kind of subtle surface variation that develops in natural leather over time. The small raised mark on the upper rear of the shell is a characteristic of the thermoforming process. Refer to photo. less
