Upholstered in tobacco-brown leather with a beautifully lived-in finish, this generously proportioned ottoman brings the sort of understated authority that makes putting your feet up look like a considered design decision. Tailored nailhead trim lends a classic clubroom sensibility, while its substantial proportions ensure it won’t be mistaken for an afterthought.

Originally paired with a Restoration Hardware Churchill chair, it has no trouble holding its own. The leather is lighter and more matte than the chair’s Vintage finish, so those pursuing a perfectly matched set should take note. For everyone else, consider it an invitation to embrace a little individuality. Not everything needs to match to get along.

Use it to rest your feet, perch with a cocktail, or demonstrate just how seriously you take the art of doing absolutely nothing.

Excellent taste. Questionable productivity. The ottoman understands. See less
