Turned, fluted legs have acanthus leaf accents and small metal roller casters. It is upholstered in white fabric secured with brass nail head trim along the borders.. The upholstery is not the original fabric but added at a more recent time. See less

The upholstery is a … moreThe Renaissance Revival style chair is a well-maintained piece with appearance consistent with age and use. The upholstery is a plump seat cushion with padded armrests and backrest. It has been reupholstered rather than having the original 19th century textile. There is some staining along the primary surfaces with some tears on the reverse/back fabric. The deep brown finish on the frame shows an aged luster and the high relief elements appear intact without missing elements. The hand-carved lion head terminals on the armrests display minor softening of the highest ridges from historical hand placement with use. The casters roll freely. less
