Crafted from fine white porcelain, the vase is decorated with vibrant underglaze cobalt blue against a pristine white ground. The main body is painted with a continuous landscape scene depicting the "Three Friends of Winter"—a gnarled pine tree, slender bamboo stalks, and a flowering plum branch—emerging from stylized blue rock formations. The neck of the vase is further adorned with a delicate bamboo motif, and a geometric band separates the neck from the shoulder. The unglazed base shows a natural, slightly textured finish.

The underside bears a six-character inscription in underglaze blue, arranged in two vertical columns. The characters read "御賜純一堂製" (Yu Ci Chun Yi Tang Zhi), which translates to "Made by the Chun Yi Hall, Bestowed by the Emperor." This indicates the piece is likely a later vintage reproduction bearing a hall mark referencing imperial patronage. See less
