This large and impressive vintage porcelain vase is crafted in the classic Meiping (plum blossom) silhouette, featuring a broad shoulder that gracefully tapers down to a narrow, unglazed base. The entire surface is densely decorated with a striking, textured pattern of rolling, stylized blue waves. The most prominent feature is a magnificent, high-relief dragon winding dynamically across the body. The dragon is sculpted with a scaled, pale blue body, accented with striking red (underglaze copper red) fins and detailing on its back and tail, while its dark blue, five-clawed limbs appear to grip the waves. A matching domed lid with a lotus-bud finial sits atop the vase, completing the design. The flat, unglazed base shows a natural, textured finish with visible firing marks.
