The main woven body and hinged lid are remarkably sturdy, with the intricate wicker weave remaining tight and largely intact throughout. There is a minor, expected amount of light surface wear, minor scuffs, and small, isolated areas of fraying or missing wicker strands, none of which compromise the structural integrity of the piece. The original metal interior support arm is present and functional, holding the lid open securely, though it shows typical vintage oxidation. The interior is spacious, clean, and ready for use as a statement storage piece, blanket chest, or decorative accent. less
