An expressive antique traditional Czech Piestany folk doll wearing a richly layered costume in turquoise, cream, rose, and gold tones circa 1920-30s.
Floral woven ribbons, a full patterned skirt, lace collar, puffed sleeves, and a decorated headpiece offer an appealing study in traditional Czech costume and textile detail. Tall black boots contrast with the colorful clothing, while her painted face and dark hair add character.
