The wide, shallow bowl is dominated by a striking central medallion on a bright yellow ground, depicting a detailed, writhing dragon rendered in deep red, purple, and teal. The dragon is chasing a flaming pearl and is surrounded by stylized clouds and auspicious peaches. This central scene is framed by a wide border of deep cobalt blue, heavily decorated with scrolling, multi-colored cloud motifs and additional peaches. The outermost rim features a continuous band of green and red geometric lappets. The reverse side of the charger is decorated with a matching blue ground and colorful floral and scroll motifs, ending at a white, unglazed foot ring. The piece is supported by a black metal display stand (included).

Maker's Mark:
The base features a horizontal, blue six-character mark enclosed in a rectangular cartouche. Note: As is common with vintage decorative pieces, this mark is likely apocryphal and serves as a tribute to the classic imperial style. See less
