Crafted from bronze or brass, the head is highly detailed with textured fur, pointed ears, a ridged snout, and an open mouth revealing its teeth. The neck of the handle is deeply engraved with continuous, swirling cloud or wave motifs. The piece terminates in a hollow, cylindrical socket (outer diameter 2.5 cm) designed to fit over the top of a wooden cane shaft. The metal has a warm, golden-bronze patina with darker oxidation in the recessed areas, giving it an antique appearance. It is currently displayed resting on a decorative piece of driftwood (not included).
