A striking, highly architectural three-seater "case frame" sofa capturing the premium craft of 1970s Scandinavian design. Heavily attributed to Danish master manufacturer Juul Kristensen (JK Møbler), this exceptional piece showcases a beautifully geometric foundation built entirely from thick, solid oak. The frame highlights masterful mitered corner joints and deep wood grain patterning.
Embodying the robust, low-profile "cube" aesthetic popularized during the late mid-century era, the solid oak side panel wings double as the sofa’s structural legs and perimeter boundary walls. The deep seating is completely nested within the wooden frame, enveloped in its original, highly sought-after olive green tufted velour upholstery. This sofa is exceptionally sturdy, exceptionally comfortable, and serves as an earthy, grounding statement piece perfect for any modern, mid-century, or organic minimalist interior.
