This is an authentic 1960s solid hardwood captain's arm chair manufactured by Thomasville Furniture Industries. A beautifully crafted piece of American heritage furniture, it features heavy turned spindles, a deep curved crest rail, and distinctively sculpted, scroll-carved front handrests. The wood grain has a rich, high-gloss amber-honey tone that highlights its solid construction. The underside retains its original stamped ink manufacturer copyright dated 1967, providing bulletproof provenance. It is a sturdy, heavy, and comfortable statement piece that works perfectly as a traditional desk chair, library accent, or entryway anchor.
