The piece is crafted from bronze and features a brilliant, all-over gilded finish. The figure is seated in the lotus position on a double-lotus base with hands resting in the dhyana mudra (gesture of meditation). The sculpture is highly detailed, with the figure wearing a complex, multi-tiered crown and an elaborate chest ornament heavily inlaid with simulated turquoise and coral cabochons. The face is serene, with painted blue hair, half-closed eyes, and a urna on the forehead. The robes are intricately chased with floral and geometric patterns. The back of the figure is also fully finished with detailed robe drapery. The solid, flat base of the lotus pedestal appears to be a plain, dark metal. This striking piece serves as a focal point for any display.
