This striking and substantial vintage porcelain vase is crafted in the classic Meiping (plum blossom) silhouette, featuring a domed lid topped with a sculpted, russet-glazed dragon head finial. The vessel is decorated in vibrant underglaze cobalt blue and copper red against a white ground. The lid is adorned with a detailed, blue-painted phoenix and scrolling peonies. The main body features a large, dynamic blue dragon winding among stylized clouds on one side, while the reverse side is heavily decorated with a dense, high-relief applied floral motif in blue and copper red. The lower section features a band of upright, geometric lappets. The base is unglazed, revealing a natural, lightly textured finish with visible firing marks.
