each chair is injection-moulded in a single enveloping shell of clear polycarbonate, its entire surface animated by fine parallel ribs that lend both structural rigidity and a distinctive visual lightness. The wraparound back flows seamlessly into integrated armrests in a fluid, organic curve, resting on four slender square-section legs that terminate in polished brass-toned metal feet caps. The signature 'papyrus by kartell, design ronan & erwan bouroullec, made in italy' is moulded directly into the material — a hallmark of italian design manufacturing at its most refined.

ideal for a contemporary interior, a design-forward dining room, a creative studio or a minimalist office space. The transparency of the polycarbonate allows these armchairs to blend effortlessly into any setting while remaining a bold design statement in their own right.

honest condition report: visible cracks and chips at the armrest joints and scratches on the legs, consistent with regular use over time. These pieces are priced accordingly and remain fully functional as seating.
