1960's decorated salt glazed wall clock in working order. A collaborative piece between Vedette French clickmakers and Kremp & V Remmy, potiers from the Betschdorf village in the Alsace region of France. This salt glazed pottery clock face is said to have been made during a short period in the mid 1960's. The decorative engravings are Alsacian style, which has German influences.
Expertly crafted, the lines are crisp and precise, with the salt glazed being well fired and robust. The click has its original hands and mechanism which is working and has been tested to hold time. The mechanism can be stopped and started with a switch on the back. This piece has an attribution mark,
