Bring a classic, timeless warmth to your hearth with this handsome pair of solid brass and iron cannonball andirons. Capturing the elegant proportions of traditional 18th-century early American Federal design, each piece features a striking sand-cast brass column topped with a prominent spherical cannonball finial. The brass facade steps down gracefully into an arched, spurred cabriole leg assembly terminating in classic flattened snake feet. Extending back from the decorative front is a heavy-duty wrought iron log billet complete with a built-in log stop pin to keep blazing timber safely in place. At 22 pounds total, this is a substantial, fully functional set of high-quality firedogs ready to anchor your fireplace or elevate your mantle decor with a touch of historic charm.
